This project is one of the single largest industrial developments  within the UK. Over 1,000,000 ft² of distribution, office and amenity space has been created for retails and food giants Marks & Spencer

Measuring 175m x 545m the steel frame is one of the largest ever constructed in the within the UK. Standard seam roofing techniques are utilised to create 180m lengths of single roof sheets. A mixture of built up and composite cladding completes the building envelope.

The cross docked facility utilises an impressive 135 dock levellers to allow effective management of site logistics.

Office space comprises a total of 60,000 ft², with elements fully fitted out to include, catering, comfort cooling, partitions, multi faith rooms and bespoke finishes.

External service yards exceed 450,000 ft² and cover ring and fire main’s and 5.5 MVA of power supplies, distributed via 5no. Sub stations.

Achieving BREEAM Excellent and an EPC rating of A , this building is amongst the best energy performing buildings in the UK. Utilising latest building methods and innovative construction solutions delivered this job as a Planet Positive building.
