Distribution Kingston Park

Kingston Park is a major development adjacent the A1139 Fletton Parkway in Peterborough. The former clay quarry and brick works was later de-commissioned and used for the storage of Pulverised Fuel Ash. The PFA was mixed with water and piped into the quarry , with depths of over 20 metres the lagoons where left to form a crust and then finished with topsoil.

Winvic have constructed 1.5m ft2 of Industrial space for Prologis on this site.

Debenhams

This 726,000 ft2 distribution centre is built on PFA lagoons, employing an extensive ground solution using 7,200; 16 meter long pre-cast concrete driven piles, this 16 meter to haunch building is vast in every sense. Office space amounted to over 40,000ft2 which was split between an external two storey building and two separate gantry style transport buildings.

Willis and Gambier

At 545,000ft2, the second of the big sheds developed, this project required a similar level of ground engineering. Over 5,500 pre cast piles where required to support the building superstructure. 20,000ft of fully fitted office space.

Unit 3

187,000ft2 facility built speculatively, Pre-cast piles, 10,000ft2 office space. Roads, sewers and infrastructure.

Innovative techniques developed by our Proshed team has aided construction methods such as Prowall dock opening surrounds, steel ground beams and pre-cast concrete liftshaft.
