Temperature Cadburys

Milton Keynes

Project value £15m
Client: Barwood Developments
Architect: Burks Green
Engineer: Capita Symonds
Programme: 47 weeks

The site in Snelshall, Milton Keynes, underwent a 80,000m3 of earthworks with cand fill operations exceeding depths of 5m. The works were carried out to a full Trenter and Charles specification. Our earthworks solutions, to an exacting engineered specification and monitoring regime, insured surcharging was not required. As well as substantial cost savings it allowed the client's critical programme requirements to be met.

The 300,000 ft2 storage and distribution facility was constructed for Cadbury Schweppes.

A demanding client brief for Cadbury Schweppes required an impressive fully fitted facility on contract completion.

Chilled and ambient chambers with 43332 pallet spaces are serviced by jet nozzle systems supported by banks of chillers and AHU's controlled by a sophisticated building management system. Sprinklers are both in-rack and roof level.

The project was fully operational when handed over to the client on the day of P.C
