After extensive upgrade works to the A14 and A6003 and the construction of a one of a kind  "hamburger" roundabout, the infrastructure to serve North Kettering Business was now in place. The former Iron or Quarry required major remediation and earthworks in order to create the individual plots which would eventually provide over 2.2million sq ft of industrial space.
Over 250,000m3 of earth works were carried out between the 5 building plots. Our ground solution involved a combination of techniques such as surcharging, stabilisation, dynamic compaction and hard rock piling to the building footprints.

Remediation methods such as vibro compaction and NRG soil consolidation were employed to ensure engineering requirements where met.

A series of adoptable roads and footways have also been constructed to enable logistical access and egress to the development sites.
