Winvic have been appointed as main contractors to deliver Milton Keynes’ first major new office development for seven years. Victoria House, is being developed by Frontier Estates on Avebury Boulevard. The 4,502m2 development is set to be the new Milton Keynes base for business advisory firm Grant Thornton. Construction has commenced with the project set to be completed by 2017.
Winvic have been appointed by LXB Retail Properties to deliver a brand new retail and leisure development. The scheme, sited adjacent the A45 in Rushden, will have nearly 380,000 sq.ft of shops which include well-known retailers. Waterfront restaurants and boathouse sit upon a bespoke Boardwalk that will provide a unique dining and leisure experience . Work commences on site later this month.
Developers Roxhill have engaged Winvic as the main contractor to build their latest scheme at Warth Park, Raunds. The 650,000sq.ft. build to suit distribution centre is the fourth building to be constructed on this business park, all by Winvic.
Winvic Construction have been awarded the contract to build two new distribution centres at Apex Park, Daventry. The speculative development will be constructed for Prologis. Unit 1 is 142,000 sq ft, whilst Unit 2 is 372,000 sq ft, both will boast top level environmental credentials.
Secured in competition, Goodman Developments have awarded the contract to deliver two speculative build distribution centres to Winvic. Building ‘A’ is 281,000 sq ft with a haunch height of 15 m whilst building ‘B’ is 153,000 sq ft and 12 m to haunch – the scheme has a project value of £16m.
After successfully constructing Costco’s brand new facility in Sunbury for developers GraftonGate , Winvic have now been awarded the contract to fit out the building. Selected after a two stage tender process, Costco have instructed works that will allow this £12.5m facility to be up and running by October 2015.
