Local Primary School visits Grange Park

Students from Woodland View Primary School were welcomed at Units A & B, Grange Park for an educational visit, to fit in with their topic of robots and machines.  The students listened to Project Manager, Neil Wells give a talk followed by a Q&A session and a short tour on site.  The children had a great day and hope to return.

Official Opening of DPD’s Super Hub

Work has been completed ahead of schedule on the new 1,542 ft long DPD Super Hub depot in Hinckley. The area of the 33-acre site is the equivalent of 19 full-size football pitches and will increase DPD’s overnight parcel sorting capacity by 65%. The building was officially opened by former professional footballer and current sports presenter Gary Lineker OBE. Developers Roxhill have engaged Winvic as the main contractor to build their latest scheme at Warth Park, Raunds. The 650,000 sq ft build to suit distribution centre is the fourth building to be constructed on this business park, all by Winvic.

WINVIC WINS NEW DEVELOPMENT AT APEX PARK, DAVENTRY

Winvic Construction have been awarded the contract to build two new distribution centres at Apex Park, Daventry.  The speculative development will be constructed for Prologis.  Unit 1 is 142,000 sq ft, whilst Unit 2 is 372,000 sq ft, both will boast top level environmental credentials.

Grange Park, Plots A & B

Secured in competition, Goodman Developments have awarded the contract to deliver two speculative build distribution centres to Winvic. Building ‘A’ is  281,000 sq ft  with a haunch height of 15 m whilst building ‘B’ is  153,000 sq ft  and 12 m to haunch – the scheme has a project value of £16m.
