Industry leading health & safety statistics and strategy:
All of Winvic's project managers, site managers and engineers are trained in health and safety to a high standard. It is our policy that all operational staff are fully trained and competent to carry out their roles and responsibilities. This is achieved by providing training by accredited CITB tutors. A Company minimum standard for site managers, is the SMSTS 5-day qualification which covers all aspects of health and safety on site.
All of our employees are inducted into the Winvic Group's culture and beliefs via health and safety policy and procedures, when they join the Company. They are made aware of any changes via our bespoke document management system. The latest version of the policy is always accessible to all staff on the Group’s internal network through our management system. All suppliers of services including designers are expected to complete our pre-qualification questionnaires which are then assessed by Winvic for their health and safety and CDM competence and track record.
Winvic also holds regular workforce health and safety reviews to ensure that everyone on site has a voice in health and safety. Winvic are very proud of their approach to proactive planning for Health and safety. One of our key processes is our 4 weekly planning meeting which focuses on discussing, reviewing and planning for effective site health and safety management.
Winvic operates in compliance of ISO standards 1800:1 Occupational Health and Safety, 1400:1 Environmental and 9000:1 Quality, copies of policies and statements are available upon request to the main office.
