We are currently working with the Government’s Construction Futures programme to provide 300 man-weeks of training during the construction phase of our contract to design & build the iCon Innovation Centre in Daventry. 

This scheme involves collaboration with Moulton College, Northampton to provide craft apprentices, technical trainees and administration assistants on a rolling six-week turn around, providing them with valuable work experience. 

As part of our ongoing commitment to Health & Safety training, all site management staff completes the 5 day SMSTS course which is valid for 5 years.

Other specialist courses are arranged on an as required basis such as attending a 2 day Safety Scaffold Inspection course.

In January 2011 we held our first internal RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement) meeting with sub-contractors to help them produce better risk assessments and method statements. We plan to repeat this several times throughout this year to encompass more of our supply chain partners.
