WINVIC press ahead with new global headquarters for TBS

WINVIC are pressing ahead now with construction of a new 100,000 sq ft manufacturing facility for TBS at Gloucester Business Park following a ground-breaking ceremony.

Our management team for the project joined representatives from TBS and the Business Park for the ceremony marking an important stage in the 29-week build programme.
We have been contracted by Goodman Logistics to deliver a state-of-the-art, built-to-suit facility for TBS who are world leaders in the lead acid battery industry.

A combination of 80,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and 20,000 sq ft of office accommodation, the building will become TBS’s global headquarters once complete.

“This is a well-established business community which is now undergoing further expansion and due to its excellent location close to the M5 motorway, TBS have decided to base their global headquarters there,” said Erald Gjoligai, our Project Manager.

“The fact that it is such a significant production facility for lead acid batteries means that the unit must have the capacity to accommodate high-tech machinery.”

He added: “We have been on site now for seven weeks, so now that it is full steam ahead with the construction, we are on course for completion in February 2018.”

Gloucester Business Park, which is situated near to Junction 11a of the M5 and the A417 dual carriageway, is home to a large business community of over 70 companies and also includes extensive onsite amenities to make it such an excellent location.
