Posted on April 7, 2017 in Awards & Accreditations

WINVIC have struck Gold for a sixth successive time . . . after emerging as a winner once again in the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards.
We have been awarded the Gold Medal in the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) to extend upon a sequence which has seen us also claim this accolade in each of the previous five years.
This most prestigious of awards in the world of occupational health and safety will be presented to our representatives at a ceremony which will be held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Thursday 13th July.

“This award is further recognition for the company’s commitment to achieving the highest possible standards across every aspect of our work and excellent outcomes for our clients.”

Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the United Kingdom and overseas.
Now in their 61st year, the awards involve judges considering entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Ian Goodhead, our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Director, commented: “This award is further recognition for the company’s commitment to achieving the highest possible standards across every aspect of our work and excellent outcomes for our clients.
“Health and Safety is high on our agenda at all times and the RoSPA Award provides a good benchmark of what we accomplish in terms of creating the right operating conditions, while it is also a reflection of the dedication of our staff in complying with legislation.”
Julie Small, RoSPA’s Head of Awards and Events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and are held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard is no mean feat.
“This is a special year in the history of RoSPA, and we congratulate all our winners in this, our centenary year.”
The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at Merit, Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, while Gold Medals, President’s Awards and Orders of Distinction are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of Gold level over consecutive years.
For the first time in 2017, the Patron’s Award has been presented to those organisations which have achieved consecutive Gold Awards for 25 years or more.

“This award is further recognition for the company’s commitment to achieving the highest possible standards across every aspect of our work and excellent outcomes for our clients.
