Let’s hear from Junior Support Analyst Georgina about all things IT and her online studies

Posted on February 8, 2023 in Blog

For National Apprenticeship Week 2023 we’ve already heard from apprentice Mia who is studying for a HNC Level 4 in Civil Engineering and Jared who is studying for his Degree Apprenticeship to gain a BEng in Civil Engineering. Today we’d like you to meet Georgina, who is a junior support analyst, studying an online course to achieve an IT Solutions Technician Level 3 qualification, with a focus on hardware. She’s been with Winvic for a year and gets involved with a wide range of IT related activities.

Click play on the vlog below to hear Georgina talk some of the tasks she does, including setting up replacement mobile phones and tablets for the team with the right software, keeping email distribution lists up to date and replacing laptop RAM and batteries. She explains how she likes getting out to sites and seeing how IT helps people do their jobs, from planning a project programme to modelling the buildings in 3D and 4D.

Pop back this week to hear from Ed who is also featured on page 14 of our latest careers brochure, but head here if you’d like to find out more about apprenticeship roles with Winvic.

If you enjoyed listening to Georgina and haven’t watched our other National Apprenticeship Week 2023 video blogs, catch up with engineer Mia studying for a Level 4 HNC and Jared who is also an engineer but a Degree Apprentice.
