Site Engineer’s Success at NTU Civil Engineering Awards

Winvic Construction was delighted to attend and sponsor an award at the Nottingham Trent University Civil Engineering Awards and Prize Giving evening on 3rd December 2018.

The awards recognised achievements in academic, course and project work from students across BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering, BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering and MSc Structural Engineering.

Mark Jamieson, a former year in industry placement student who returned to us this year after graduating with a First Class Honors, and is now working as a Site Engineer on our

Bedford Link project, was awarded the prize for ‘Outstanding Final Year BSc Student’.

Winvic also sponsored the Prize for ‘Women in Civil Engineering for Outstanding Contribution and Achievement’ which was awarded to Mollie Dowsing by our HR & Training Manager Rebecca Schwarz.
