  • Project value: £16m
  • Client: PLP
  • Engineer: Burrows Graham
  • Programme: 60 weeks
  • Completion: June 2023

The scheme involved extensive earthworks operations to re-profile the land and create seven plateaus for 10 commercial buildings. We constructed a new roundabout on Brickhill Road and widened the north and south approach arms of the Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout on the A5, as well as upgraded the existing traffic signals. The 200 metre single lane carriageway between these roundabouts was made wider to create a new dual section.

In September 2022, PLP then appointed us to construct the first four industrial facilities on the 135-acre site; these were handed over between February and June 2023, and were delivered as Net Zero in construction.

  • S278 works

  • Roundabout construction

  • 643,000 cubic metres of cut and fill
